The Importance of Biannual Exams & Cleanings

Taking a preventive approach to your oral health can save you both time and money in the long run. By attending biannual dental visits, we can keep more serious dental issues such as gingivitis, cavities, and more at bay. We understand that it can be difficult to fit dental visits into an already busy schedule. We also understand that when you think you have a dental issue, you may not be too excited to visit the dentist. However, the sooner you address any dental concerns you have, the sooner we can remedy the problem before it turns into a more costly issue.

What to Expect

If you’re feeling uneasy about visiting the dentist—that’s okay! We’ll walk you through the process so you can have a better idea of what to expect while you’re with us.

X-Rays & Professional Teeth Cleaning

When it’s time for your appointment to begin, we’ll start off by taking any necessary dental X-rays. X-rays help us identify cavities, assess your tooth alignment, and more. Once your they are complete (this process usually only takes a few minutes), we’ll lead you to your designated dental chair. There, one of our talented dental hygienists will thoroughly clean your teeth by removing plaque buildup and leftover debris, as well as apply any necessary dental sealants or fluoride treatments.

Exam & Consult with Dr. Ding

After your teeth and gums are squeaky clean, you’ll have a consultation with Dr. Ding. He’ll go over your dental history, listen to any concerns you have, and assess your X-rays. Next, he’ll perform a thorough examination of your teeth, gums, and jaw to ensure you have a clean bill of health. Your dental trip will be over before you know it, and you can enjoy the peace of mind knowing that your mouth is in tip-top shape!
